About Common Ground

Common Ground Community Chorus is a Boise community chorus devoted to the performance of high quality standard, popular and contemporary choral music. It seeks to display the positive face of the open-minded and progressive citizens of the Treasure Valley, welcoming and recognizing diverse people.
Common Ground Community Chorus was originally known as Boise Pride Chorale. It was organized in March 2000. In 2002 the Chorale was reorganized as the Idaho Voices of Diversity. In 2008 the choir was rebranded as Common Ground Community Chorus.
The choir wrapped up our first season as Common Ground Community Chorus in June, 2008. We are currently in the midst of our fifth season as the Common Ground Community Chorus. The 2011-12 season began with our first rehearsal on Monday, September 12, 2011 and continues each week there after.
We produce three major concerts per season. Each season is approximately 10 months long beginning in mid September and ending in mid June.
